Other than the obvious real-life perils for unattended underaged children who think they are "dating", all that visual and sonic garbage that barrages me, really squicks me. Furthermore, there's all of those spyware-infested advertisements that compel me to run my anti-spyware programs.

If I ever get famous, I will open a Myspace account only to provide a redirect to my home site.

If you are artistic and creative and generally well-behaved and not a cheap willing jailbait freak, consider Elftown as an alternative.

I think that most people's opinions are different from yours. Almost everyone has a MySpace and I think that you're the only person here who's ever heard of 'Elftown'.
