On social networking sites such as the very popular myspace and bebo, how can you tell if someone is pretending to be a celebrity? Becuase there are loads of bebo profiles (not sure about myspace) of very famous celebrities such as paris hilton, and they are all convincing. So, how do you tell if someone is faking it?

Agreed if they say they are the celeb, and it is not marked as an "official" site more than likely they are imposters....a celebrity is not going to announce on a public space like that. If they are on they are going under an alias to provide them privacy or every nut cake would be hounding them
