Well, I'm a member of a social networking website where friends and people viewing your profile are key to making you some good money. There is a user that is on my friends' list, and I had to ignore their public announcements, because they posted requests for everyone to come view their pointless stuff about once an hour, plus they can't spell to save their life.
Not only that, but recently I added someone else to my ignore list, and I noticed that this same attention-needing person has changed their name and profile to represent themselves as Tila Tequila. She's semi-famous, but still famous. This is not only falsifying information, but also pretty much cheating to earn more money more easily.
So, is there anything I can do? - I'd like to report this person, but I'd like some evidence that it's illegal first, and Google searching, and searching this site has not helped.
Thanks! 閳?br>Is it illegal to impersonate someone famous on a site like MySpace?
no, it's not illegal, but impersonating someone is against the rules.
People do it, it's a bit of fun innit?
