It's because EVERYBODY else has one, but not because of the popularity/bandwagon factor. It's basically like havin an all about me webpage that its guaranteed some1 else will visit, and its fun looking at other people's pages; esp. people that you know, and seeing what they think of themselves and how they view the world.

You can tell just by looking at some1's page what they are into, their favorite colors, their social rank (nerd, punk, goth, badass). I think that is intriguing to everyone, and also you can probably find people you forgot about (oooh! I just found my ex's myspace!!!) and you can see almost everything about them (girlfriend, best friend, etc) Then look at their pages, find about them. So basically myspace is great for our inner busybody., making it seriously addicting!!!

Also they have great features!!!

A good blog plus a social site!!!! I love writing so I blog in one window and talk 2 an old flame in another

Also anyway you want to communicate they have it!!!

1. Comment: Sorta-Private (posted on the page so everybody can see it, but only the persons close friends are likely 2 see n read it)

2. Message: Very private (only the sender can see it)

3. Bulletin: Not very private (everybody on your friends list can get it)

I am a bulletin whore...I love doing the surveys and things...I can't get through the day without doin a survey

Not to mention pic comments and rankings so you can see if others think you are photogenic and cute!!! I post nu pics just for comments!!!

i have one because eveyone kept telling me to get one....i think its pretty stupid and not addictive at all....all you ever hear is comment my new pics and layout and movie and etc. gets annoying because its the same people everytime...bascially you can do everything you can on myspace through AOL

myspace is a kool place for connecting with friends and doing some fun things on it.. but then its slow in the chat.. it seems to always have error's that are being sent to the techinal team.. it diffenatly has it problems.. its fun to make a page and see others pages but then dam some people need to limit the stuff they put on there page cuz to much stuff freezes up my browser and everything and makes there page really hard to browse through.. i've heard alot of people have the same problems.

i can see how its addicitive if it wasn't soo.. and being famous.. well where else can u look up old friends connect with them browse for new friends theres alot to do that.

i like myspace...its really cool...yes its VERY addictive! i think its famous cus its a great way to communicate with all kinds of people and u could find people who u havent seen in years and also its addicting so people tell their friends and then they tell there Friends and so on

it gives ppl sumthin 2 do... itz like havin another life and introducing new ppl 2 join this new life u have created, and findin out that ppl alwayz got comment about u and wanting 2 b yo friend... itz very addictive... itz a new world that u created!!
