On myspace, click on the "Music" link and put in the search term of the artist you are looking for. The 1st link you see will be the official.

Another technique I use for actors is: I Google or Yahoo the artist name and the term "myspace". Usually it's the first link available.

Another thing is visit their website and users are not allowed to upload music that is not theirs, so if they don't have music it is not theirs.

well the famous ones wont have other famous people as there friends. for example lauren from the hills wouldent have only the people from the hills as there friends and the real people usually have pictures where it looks like they have taken them themselves...copiers just get pictures from google where there on the red carpet or on a photo shoot etc. hope this helped.

The REAL celebrities will have a picture with them holding the Myspace URL.
