I used to have 1004 and i narrowed it down to 411. I kept just real people who live near me. most of the people i had were like famous pornstars, models, artists, scientists, etc. why was it so hard to let go? could it be that im lonely and having all those people on my friends list gave me comfort even if i rarely if ever talked to them? :-(
I just deleted a bunch of people from myspace and I feel bad about it but at the same time kind of relieved?
Sounds like a good clean out was needed , both physically and emotionally for you to come to realisation that numbers of myspace friends really mean nothing overall.
Sounds like you were grasping at anyone who came near you ,at least you recognised the need to sweep the closet out (so to speak) and move on to more realistic times.
It's not the amount of friends you have BUT the quality of those close friends who mean everything to you....
I say you could also cut that 411 by 300 or more, to ppl you keep in contact with...閳?br>I just deleted a bunch of people from myspace and I feel bad about it but at the same time kind of relieved?
MYSPACE ruined my life!jk

IF anyone was a real friend they will message you, call you, or add you back on again.

I'm a hugh My Space addict, it cracks me up how soooo many ppl love themselves and talk up how gr8 they r but hey, its only a pass time, like a game, i don't take anything on the Internet too seriously.... i should be spending more time doing my housework anyway..... keep smiling little camper.......

It may be a temporary ego kick to collect a whole bunch of MySpace friends, but the reality is that it's meant as a community forum to keep up with people you know and/or are interested in.
Don't sweat it, you can always re-add them. But deleting them means much less useless and distracting noise to deal with. Do you really care about Tila Tequila's latest BS blog or the new Crapalicious record? Probably not.
We all have our standards and limits. It's up to you to figure out what yours are and stick to them. MySpace is a good place to start. Congratulate yourself and move on.
