I was watching what looked like a fairly old episode of Family Guy last night. They were in a deserted town or something, and all of a sudden they ran into a piano player, who was making of songs based on what he was observing. Example: Lois started eating an apple, and he would sing something like, "Lois has an apple.....she's gonna take a bite.....she's gonna take a bite.....she's gonna take a bite. It's always been my dream to become famous ALWAYS! And my friend is very beautifull, tall, skinny and is a PERFECT model. She's always been hoping for this day to come.

I am not saying that you shouldn't neuter/spay your pet, I am just saying that the choose should be up to the owner and not animal rights extremists. Groups like these are mislabeling breeders and passing mandatory spay/neutered laws as part of their total animal liberation plan.

I'm going to have to disagree with all the YouTube enthusiasts out there. When I hear something on YouTube, I immediately think "amateur" and that's not the image you want to project. A MySpace Music Profile is nice. but it still probably won't get a lot of publicity. I recommend sending demos to agents (not labels as you've already hinted to the copyright issue and also many labels will just chuck unsolicited demos in the trash).

Another way to go is to set up a profile on GarageBand.com. I haven't had much experience with that site, but I have heard excellent things from others. Your boyfriend also might want to peruse the classifieds for groups looking for singers. The more he puts himself out there, the better his chances are.

It's really hard to know who is who (or who is what :p) on these kinds of messengers. I get fairly trigger happy with the ignore/ban button on those types of things. If you have even the sneakiest of suspicions that somebody could be stalking you, I'd ban him right quick from any and all of my messenger things/myspace pages. After all, you're using those things for fun-it's not worth the stress of trying to figure out whether he is or is not actually out to hurt you. Put him on banned or whatever and move on with your life. (You might even have to abandon your current myspace/facebook page and create a whole new one just to lose him.)

Because of his financial stability, he can afford his piano, books, and to spend money on his art. He has even performed on the met. Someday he would love to be a famous countertenor (male soprano). However, until that day, he sticks with the accounting thing because it is stable and provides a good life for him. He still gets to do what he loves most but it's not determining whether he gets to eat that week or not. Going straight up music is very hard. I should know, it's the path I chose. And I work for 9.49 an hour in a group home part time on third shift...

The reality is that most musicians have a day job and play in a band a night or weekends. Most never make it "big" and if they do it is a short run of fame.

I am in a band right now with my husband and I work a day job. My husband has his masters in music composition and theory and teaches music in a school during the day. We know many people in band in our city and most are doing what we do. If you do know someone who is making a living, they are traveling tons and doing parties and functions and huge festivals. Lots of travel.

Become a musician because you love music and cannot live without it, or because you write songs that must be sung and played. Do not became a musician to make money. You will be disappointed

I think it's weird. Now people don't even need Hollywood, Sports, or Politics to become famous. People are using youtube as a way to get known and myspace as a way for people to learn more about them and contacting them.

For example, Marie Digby. She was first famous from youtube. Then Disney found her and signed her. She didn't even need Disney. lol! I would have boughten music from her even though it was live. She's that good.

why he broke up with me I was devestated, because first I thought we had a solid relationship, second he told me the girl was a mistake thats why he didnt want to stay with her from the begininng, and I even told him to be a prst of his daughters life. Mia, Mia... You have to be the bigger person here. Is all this drama really worth your time. He obviously is not the one for you and you have your whole life to find someone who knows what he wants- YOU, not some past relationship.

No matter what you felt, or what he stated in the past about her being a mistake, his actions prove otherwise. As a third party looking in, it is easy to say move on, but unfortunately we don't have internal emotional switches we can just turn off if our relationships go sour; feelings run deep.
